Most of the 20 people present were employees of ISFAC, CSSP, DoD, VA or National Guard from across NC. I’m not sure what they thought of my presence as a VFP, although after our morning session, my table mates seemed to think I was maybe OK.

I think my participation in the meeting was a kind of breakthrough. If we can establish a reputation as a service organization, we can build bridges to the community of service members, veterans and the larger society.
